Whilst off duty the officer was involved in a dispute with a member of the public. He assaulted the person by striking them across the face.

The officer was convicted of Common Assault, contrary to Section 39 of the Criminal Justice Act 1988.

Officer exchanged a series of chat and images via Facebook with another person, who is now a convicted sex offender. One of the images is an indecent image of a child, the remainder were indicative of a sexual interest in children.
Analysis of the officer’s mobile phone revealed that websites visited and viewed by the officer suggested content of indecent images of children.
The officer created a Snapchat account in order to facilitate contact with girls aged between 14-16 years.
