A further three people charged with Naasir Francis murder
Three people have been charged with the murder of Naasir Francis in Lozells on Wednesday.
Darnell Donovan-Harris, aged 22 of Westminister Crescent, Handsworth and a 17-year-old boy from Surrey have been charged with murder, attempted murder and possession of a prohibited weapon.
Man charged after officer is knocked off police motorcycle
A man has been charged after a police officer was knocked off his motorcycle while on duty in Oldbury on Thursday (27 August).
The officer was at the junction of Causeway Green Road and Ashes Road when he was knocked off his bike. The driver failed to stop at the scene.

Murder investigation launched after man dies in Lozells shooting
A murder investigation has been launched after a man died when shots were fired in Lozells this afternoon (26 August).
The 22-year-old was critically injured in Lozells Road just after 12.30pm and died a short time after arriving at hospital.
Further arrests in Reece Cox murder investigation
We have today (Tuesday 25 August) arrested two more men in relation to the murder of Reece Cox, who was killed following a violent street attack in Sedgley.
Reece, aged 24, was tragically found with fatal head injuries outside a pub in the town centre on Saturday 15 August.
