Two injured in city centre collision
Two men have been seriously injured in a collision involving two cars on New John Street West in Birmingham city centre just before 4am this morning (31 July).
The road remains closed at the junction of Summer Lane while investigations are carried out to establish what has happened.

Sebastiojonas Busauskas approached the pair, who were not known to him, in Trinity Street, Coventry, during the early hours of 7 September 2019.
Investigation launched after man found with fatal injuries in Bristol Road South
We’re investigating after a man was found with fatal injuries in Bristol Road South, Northfield just after 5am this morning (23 July).
The 44-year-old was treated by paramedics but sadly died at the scene. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
Woman released on bail after incident at New Cross Hospital
We’ve released a woman on bail as we continue to investigate a report of an attack on a health care assistant at New Cross Hospital.
The 47-year-old, from Wolverhampton, was arrested yesterday (Wednesday 21 July) on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
