An armed robber has been jailed for five years after we tracked her down within two hours of her crime - thanks to her missing teeth.
 
Tara Gregory pulled out a knife and threatened her target in Brighton Street, Coventry, at around 10.10pm on 19 December last year.

We’re appealing to trace more potential witnesses following the death of a man found with a serious head injury in a Smethwick alleyway on Tuesday 14 April. 

Jagdev Lally was rushed to hospital after a passer-by found him collapsed off the High Street at around 9am.

A West Midlands Police officer has been dismissed for gross misconduct for his use of force during two arrests.

Pc Sunil Narr punched a suspect during an arrest in April 2017 in Coventry. He was charged with assault, but was found by a court to have no case to answer.

Muhammad Khan was detained over the killing of 20-year-old Panashe Bako at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Holliday Street on Tuesday (21 July).

A man killed following a collision in West Bromwich last week has been named as Anthony Whitehouse.

Mr Whitehouse was walking along Newton Road just before 9.30pm on Thursday 16 July when he was struck by a car near the junction of Wigmore Lane.

We’ve charged a teenager with attempted murder after it’s alleged he deliberately drove at a man outside a Birmingham pub.

The 17-year-old – who is too young for us to legally name – is accused of hitting the victim in Hurst Lane, Shard End, on Monday (20 July).
