Detectives continue to investigate the murder of Jaydon Washington James
Police are continuing to investigate the murder of 16-year-old Jaydon Washington James after he was stabbed in Wood End last Saturday (24 November).
The teenager was with friends in Deedmore Road just before midnight when they were attacked. Sadly Jaydon did not survive his injuries and he died in hospital a short time later.
Jaydon’s friends who were also seriously injured have since been released from hospital.
Detectives are working around the clock to identify and arrest those responsible for the attack and murder.
Chief Superintendent Mike O’Hara, from Coventry Police, said: “All my officers are determined to get justice for Jaydon’s family and we will leave no stone unturned in the hunt for his killer.
“Enquiries are progressing at pace but I would still appeal to anyone with information or intelligence to make contact as soon as possible.”
