Police appeal following Kingstanding stabbing

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was attacked in Kingstanding on Sunday (25 November).

The 15-year-old boy was stabbed on Homerton Road just after 6.30pm and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

He remains in hospital today (Monday 26 November) and fortunately, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Inspector Jim Mahon, from force CID, said: “I am urging anyone with information on this attack to come forward and speak to us.

“Up to five people are believed to have chased the victim on the road, before stabbing him multiple times.

“We take knife crime very seriously and I’d like to speak to anyone who saw what happened and can help us find those responsible for this violent attack.”
